The Novi Ambassador Academy is an eight-week course that allows residents of Novi to become “students” and examine the inner workings of City government. Students will hear from staff, tour facilities, and engage in the collaborative City governing process. At the end of the course, students will have a greater understanding of how the City of Novi works for its citizens.

Classes are presented weekly at various Novi locations. The sessions are led by City department representatives and often include a hands-on approach to learning about specific services. A graduation reception is included at the conclusion of the Novi Ambassador Academy on Thursday, November 12. For more information, please call the Community Relations Department at 248.347.0416.

Teens wearing I am Novi t-shirtsThe City of Novi launched the “I AM NOVI” campaign in late 2013 as a simple slogan on a shirt with City colors. Fast forward 12 months and today youʼll find several iterations of the shirt, a bi-monthly e-newsletter, baseball hats, video spots and more.

In 2015 the City will begin profiling staff, residents and businesses through photos and video... allowing you to share your Novi story.

Want to be a part of the “I AM NOVI” campaign? Looking to purchase a shirt for a friend or family member? Contact Community Relations at 248-735-5628 or
